CIMC Enric Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries (Hong Kong stock code: 3899.HK) are pleased to announce the successful launch of two cutting-edge hydrogen compressors. The Company's 90MPa/1000kg liquid-driven compressor and 45MPa diaphragm compressor were recently launched at the CIMC Hydrogen Shanghai Equipment Manufacturing Base and Bengbu Equipment Manufacturing Base, respectively. This milestone marks represents a significant achievement in the Company's key equipment layout for hydrogen energy whole industrialchain, demonstrating crucial technological breakthroughs in pressurization equipment. These advancements will further reduce the hydrogen energy application costs and solidify the Company's overall hydrogen energy solution capability.

A hydrogen compressor is crucial throughout the hydrogen production chain, as it utilizes compressed hydrogenair to discharge hydrogen from a vessel. Specifically, it is widely used throughout the hydrogen production chain. During the hydrogen production process, the generated hydrogen gas undergoes compression into corresponding storage containers at the hydrogen plant. During pipeline transportation, such compressor serves as a power source, ensuring efficient transport. It also plays an important role in hydrogen blending scenarios. Upon reaching the refuelling station and downstream applications, the hydrogen requires re-compression for proper storage using a compressor.

In recent years, the demand for hydrogen compressors has surged with the rapid development of domestic hydrogen refuelling stations in downstream applications. However, in response to the heavy reliance on imported compressed equipment for refuelling stations, CIMC Hydrogen, a subsidiary of the Company, has devoted more efforts toincreased its research and development efforts to tackle key challenges in compressor technology, leading to these recent breakthroughs.

The 90MPa/1000kg skid-mounted hydrogen compressor, which was developed and designed by CIMC Enric Energy Systems (Shanghai) Co. and launched went offline from the CIMC Hydrogen Shanghai Equipment Manufacturing Base, features frequent start-stop and pressurized start-stop capabilities, improving work efficiency. Its optimized structure, oil-free, combination sealing design, and gas-liquid isolation technology ensure the cleanliness of hydrogen inflow and outflow. The compressor adopts a modular design, offering high flexibility through individual functional module replacement, upgrade, and maintenance. The enhanced integration level also reduces compressor connecting pipelines and external leakage points, optimizing the equipment footprint, production, delivery cycle, and manufacturing costs.

The performance and specifications of this liquid-driven compressor meet international advanced standards, allowing versatile applications in hydrogen production, transportation, refuelling, and utilization throughout China. Moreover, this equipment can be used in various scenarios, such as laboratory-customized high-pressure fluid equipment, fluid circulation equipment for testing agencies, and high-pressure fluid support equipment for blasting tests.

Additionally, the 45MPa diaphragm compressor, designed and developed by CIMC Enric (Bengbu) Compressor Co., Ltd. and launched by CIMC Hydrogen Energy's Bengbu Equipment Manufacturing Base, boasts two variants: the single-diaphragm head with a displacement of 500Nm³/h and the double-diaphragm head with a displacement of 1000Nm³/h. It is widely used in high-purity hydrogen refuelling station systems for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. Its design incorporates a large diaphragm head, utilizing refined high-nickel alloy and a high-efficiency sealing structure, among other features. This combination results in efficient cooling and energy-saving capabilities, low exhaust temperature and a high flow rate, ensuring safety and reliability, skid mounted, standardization, and intelligence. It utilizes the Internet of Things(IoT) product full life cycle application technology platform, allowing real-time online monitoring and online diagnosis of performance parameters such as pressure and temperature, facilitating seamless communication and service with end customers, and ensuring safe and stable operations of units on-site.
