In recent years, the adoption of liquefied natural gas (LNG) as an alternative fuel has gained tremendous traction in the maritime industry. Regarded as a mature option, LNG presents numerous advantages for vessel operators. However, the key to maintaining a competitive edge lies in making the right technological choices tailored to specific vessel designs and operational requirements.

One of the prominent challenges faced by LNG-fueled vessels is optimizing the utilization of available space for fuel tanks and associated systems. Unlike traditional fuel oils, LNG storage demands more space due to its lower energy density, necessitating larger tanks to achieve comparable operational ranges. Moreover, LNG's low temperature mandates additional space for tank insulation and gas handling systems.

Answering the demand for efficient LNG equipment in the marine sector, CIMC ENRIC has emerged as a distinguished player. Our unwavering focus revolves around the development of marine fueling equipment, encompassing LNG storage tanks, gas supply systems, power systems, and refueling stations. Leveraging extensive expertise in cryogenic products, CIMC ENRIC has fostered collaborations with renowned classification societies such as CCS, BV, DNV·GL, domestic fishing vessel inspection authorities, and esteemed universities and colleges. Together, we conduct pivotal scientific research on LNG water applications, bridging existing gaps within China and attracting noteworthy attention to LNG's clean energy water applications within the industry.

CIMC ENRIC's product portfolio boasts a plethora of features. Our successful completion of multi-standard LNG ship tanks spanning from 3.5 to 14,000 cubic meters, coupled with the development of marine LNG supply and filling systems, empowers them to deliver comprehensive solutions for LNG storage, transportation, filling, and end-use applications.

At the forefront of their LNG aquatic application series is their downstream offering, the LNG marine fuel tank. CIMC ENRIC has established itself as a trailblazer in this domain, spearheading offshore refilling ship initiatives in China. Our expertise as designers and builders of liquefied cargo systems for the inaugural LNG refilling ship in the Yangtze River further solidifies the position as industry leaders.

Notably, CIMC ENRIC's achievements transcend China's borders. We were among the earliest companies to pioneer LNG ship conversions in Asia, taking pride in producing the region's first LNG-fueled vessel. Moreover, the active participation in the Clean Energy Working Group under the National Technical Committee for Standardization for Fishing Boats underscores leadership and unwavering dedication to advancing clean energy solutions.

Recognizing the significance of global standards, CIMC ENRIC holds a host of certifications and marine product certificates bestowed by governing bodies worldwide. The marine tanks have received factory approvals from esteemed classification societies such as CCS, BV, and DNV·GL.

CIMC's remarkable success story revolves around the oil-to-gas conversion project carried out on the Guangdong Lufeng fishing boat. This groundbreaking initiative led to an astounding 30% reduction in fuel costs for the operator, while simultaneously contributing to cleaner emissions.

With an extensive range of LNG equipment and an unwavering commitment to research and innovation, CIMC ENRIC continues to reshape the landscape of LNG applications within the marine industry. As LNG garners increasing prominence as a viable alternative fuel option, the expertise and dedication of CIMC ENRIC position them as pivotal players in the global market.
